This was recorded in NY at Kramer's Studio. I was pretty nervous because it was someone else's money I'd be wasting if I did a lousy job!! My only other recording experience (besides with those Velvet guys) had been in my living room, where I had all the time in the world to re-do. However, all went well. My honeybun Lou volunteered to play on a couple of songs. The day after doing so he called me at my brother's-where I was staying-and said "I hear na na's".I said "Huh?" He said that he heard na na's on the end of Hey, Mersh (one of the songs he'd played on), and sang his idea to me over the phone! As you can see, I liked the idea, too!
